For
the Delaware - the general fishing season is closed but the following
waters are open for catch & release, artificial only:
Border Water section of the West Branch and the Main Stem as well as
the No-Kill sections of the Beaverkill & Willowemoc. Fishing
opportunities have slowed as winter prepares to set in, however, the
warm-up days could still produce some rising fish on BWO's &
Midges. Streamers fished slow and nymphing would be the standard go to
methods.
Steelhead
action up on the Salmon river is plugging along. The crowds have
thinned and it is still producing some very nice fish mostly by means of
traditional nymphing methods but fish can still be had spey
fishing/swinging flies - slow.
Here are a few pics.
